Be Careful With Your Upwork Account!
I recently updated my
Upwork account after I finished my virtual assistant training. Immediately, I
submitted proposals to numerous clients who are looking for a virtual
assistant. Unknowingly that I might face a problem with Upwork; to my surprise
when I opened my account, I saw a message saying that my account was suspended and I have to contact their
support to know more details about the suspension. I hurriedly reached them,
and I was so shocked that they suspended
my account because I submitted several proposals that no client responded and
with that, they said that I am sending proposals in which my skills do not match with
the job posted.
I appealed and gave my
reasons as to why they should reconsider opening my account. Until now, I am
still waiting for their reply if they’re going to grant my appeal. I hope they
will. With what happened to me, I learn a lesson, and you guys also should be careful with your accounts. Read its
policy as much as you can. I hope this could help some newbies like me who
are not yet well-versed in the technicalities of online sites.
